Do I smell…cornflake french toast?

St. Barbara

Tim, Sofie and I were at Paseo Nuevo this evening. (I had to do a mystery shop down there.) So, you know there’s that whole construction project happening on the corner of Chapala and de la Guerra. Well, Tim keenly spotted a sign hanging on a section of the new building’s facade… The sign was for ESAU’S!!!

Is it true?  Are they returning like the phoenix from the flame?

I’ve not heard anything about this, and a reasonable Google search turned up no additional info.

I SO hope it wasn’t a mirage. I’ve awakened many a Sunday morning (okay, so it’s really, like, many a Sunday at 1pm) with a hankering for some crunchy cornflake french toast.

If there was a patron saint of cornflake french toast, I’d so be lighting up devotional candles all over the place right now.
