Stuff from my in-box, 15 Aug 07
August 15th, 2007
In no particular order:
- Deliciously inappropriate:
- Chickenhead.com’s Baby Review
- Bulletproofbaby.net.
- The Osmonds are reuniting. Tickets range from $75-$125?! Um, I’ll just go as far as digging out my purple socks, thankyouverymuch.
- Fetus makes friends on Facebook. Everyone else is doing it… Why not? If you want to friend Bubba…
- Très interesting article on fonts of the 1970s.
- Speaking of fonts, I’m really loving this Le Monde font from Font Shop. (While you’re checking it out, you might as well download this month’s free fonts.)
- And STILL speaking of fonts, House Industries is having a sale!?! Their email said they will continue adding new items through Sept. 15. (Ed Benguiat is whispering in my ear. And Sofie just might need the Alexander Girard Alphablocks.)
- Sierra Club’s not happy about “made in China” crap, and is threatening to sue.
- The latest and greatest web site for Zaca Fire info. I awoke this morning to find a lot of ash blew in through the kitchen window, covering all of the dishes I washed and left to dry last night and all of Sofie’s bottles. Now I get to wash everything all over again. sigh. Oh yeah, and Sofie’s daycare provider, Lisa, told me last week about her friend seeing these t-shirts being sold. At first, I thought it was an obscene attempt to capitalize on the situation… unless proceeds were going to a charitable cause. I hadn’t thought about the firefighters as the main consumers though… Yeah, I’d want one, too.
- This email from Patmo:
I found this beautiful summer poem and thought it might help make your day. It did make mine, and it’s very well written.
