Euphony in the desert
I just saw that Jake Shimabukuro is going to be performing October 21 at Joshua Tree campground. How AWESOME is that going to be?! An ukulele wizard performing in a magical place… one of my favorite places. Hm. Maybe a camping trip is in my near future.
Also, a couple of days ago, I read online that Morrissey and Kristeen Young are going to be playing at the SB Bowl September 29. I immediately searched the Bowl’s web site and Ticketmaster, but neither showed the concert. I called the Bowl today to ask if, in fact, they were performing and, if so, when do tickets go on sale. The woman said she was unable to confirm the show. I don’t trust, however, she really knew anything. I’ll have to call back tomorrow.
The KC show in May was a.maz.ing. I’d totally see ‘em again. Totally.
