And, honestly, on Day 25 of NaBlahBlahBlah, I quite welcomed having a meme to work with. :)</p> <p>As for Annapolis, in 1985, I was selected to attend a summer seminar (approx. 300 entering high school seniors were selected from across the country -- 100 of us female) which was used as a recruiting tool to give prospectives an introduction to life as a cadet. While I was accepted, I decided not to attend. I found it to be a fabulous opportunity for an amazing education, but the environment was just not for me.</p> <p>BUT, I did meet my first love there. Glenn. He was from NY, and <em>was</em> everything this once precocious misfit of a girl from Kansas fantasized about. (I knew I wanted to move to NYC when I was 10 years old.)
