Tah dah!
Lookie what I got “for blog eggsellence”!
My heartfelt thanks to Bradley at The Egel Nest for the Nest love. :)
I’ve had the pleasure of getting to peek into Bradley’s life this month, thanks to NaBloPoMo. I’ve since learned that Bradley is a SUPER nice guy, son of Linda, a recently degreed geek :) Master of Information Systems Management, a musician, and, perhaps most importantly to him, SAHD (props!) to the adorable Sammy.
Speaking of NaBloPoMo… With this post, I have officially completed my NaBloPoMo exercise! Yay, me!
It’s certainly been challenging… sometimes not having one iota of writing inspiration; other times having too much to say but not enough time to get it all down in this busy month.
I’m SO glad I did it though. I’ve met some witty, clever, creative, nice folks in the blogosphere I wouldn’t have met otherwise. I also won two awards (!), one from The Egel Nest and the other from the entertaining Nap Warden. I like her a lot. She’s just real.
Especially valuable is having met other parents to whom I can relate… We love our kids for all we’re worth, but still look forward to occasions to ditch them and reach for a martini with one hand and a chocolate truffle with the other, making inappropriate comments all the while.
Thank you, NaBloPoMo, and thank you to my new blog pals. You made this project worthwhile.
And, especially, thank you, Becky, for suckering me into joining you for this ride. We did it! choo-choo! :)
