Fire in Montecito (Tea Fire)
I ran into my neighbor around 5:15pm today, who was just leaving to head up into the hills and admire the full moon. While there, she actually saw the fire break out off in the distance.
Images on KEYT’s live coverage not looking good. Many houses - estates - have burned, and areas on Westmont’s campus are also on fire.
Power went out downtown; my area has not been affected, save for flickering lights a couple of times. Just in case, I’ve pulled out my headlamp. I love my headlamp, but hate having a reason such as this to pull it out.

UPDATE:
* This fire is now being referred to as the Tea Fire, 300+ acres burned, as of 8:30pm.
* Cal Fire website now has Tea Fire info.

Circa 1978

Me, 1978 as rendered by yearbookyourself.com.
Albert sent me a fun link today: yearbookyourself.com I know it’s been around for a bit, but it was my first time to really explore it.
Check it out! Show me what you come up with.
p.s.: Becky, I miss your UCSB yearbook photo project!! More, please.
BTW, picture #1 in your post today would be perfect for yearbookyourself.com.
On second thought, #s 3 & 4 would be more fun… :)
